The “Plankton Science and Culture” course, taken by 2nd-year students of the Fisheries Engineering Department, was conducted as a hands-on field study at Karakaya Dam Lake. During the course, students received practical training on the use of a plankton net, measurement of physicochemical parameters, and collection of plankton samples, gaining valuable experience in applied limnological research techniques.
