We are proud to announce that Prof. Dr. Memet VAROL, one of the distinguished faculty members of our department, has once again been included in the “World’s Most Influential Scientists” list, prepared annually by John P. A. Ioannidis of Stanford University and published in the Elsevier database, bringing great pride to our university.
The list includes all scientists worldwide with at least five published articles, classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields according to the standard Science-Metrix classification. Based on the evaluation of qualified scientific publication performance, researchers are ranked in two categories: career-long impact and annual impact.
In this comprehensive global assessment, Prof. Dr. Memet VAROL, from the Department of Fisheries Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, has once again achieved the distinction of being listed among the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists in both categories — reaffirming his outstanding scientific contributions and consistent research excellence.
