Our university proudly hosted the 7th Türkiye Fisheries Seminar in 2025. The event featured distinguished speakers, including Mr. Ergün ASLAN, President of ANASUMDER, Prof. Dr. Bülent ŞEN, Lecturer Ekrem ÖZTÜRK, and Fisheries Engineer Faruk GEÇEN.
The seminar brought together leading figures from the fisheries sector, representatives from the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, fish production facilities operating in Malatya, representatives of the Malatya Trout Producers Association, Ziraat Bank, our esteemed Dean Prof. Dr. Hakan YILDIRIM, and students from our department.
At the conclusion of the seminar, a plaque of appreciation was presented to Prof. Dr. Ünal İSPİR, Head of the Department of Fisheries Engineering, in recognition of his efforts in organizing this fruitful event.
As a university, we take great pride in hosting the annual Türkiye Fisheries Seminar, contributing to the development of the fisheries and aquaculture sector, bringing our students together with industry leaders, and raising awareness among young people about the importance and opportunities of the fisheries industry.
